Franz hires Charles for private calls on Thursday evenings. Well, Thursday evenings for Franz. For Charles, their session is usually on Thursday evenings, but sometimes it's more like: Thursday night, bleeding into Friday morning; or so early Thursday morning, that there's no point going to bed on Wednesday.
Franz says that he travels for work. He says that his work is very stressful, and that he likes to go into the weekend as relaxed as possible.
Charles categorically ignores that Franz’s work travel patterns always line up perfectly with the Formula 1 calendar.
Then Max Verstappen is seen driving at the Nordschleife under the name 'Franz Hermann,' and Charles can't ignore the very connectable dots anymore.

F1 organises an elaborate hide and seek game with the 2026 grid. Twenty drivers hiding, two drivers seeking. The prize for finding the most drivers and for being the best hidden is the same: Two passes to skip all media duties on two weekends on the winners’ choosing.
Max thinks the whole thing is stupid and childish, but he is going to get those passes whatever happens, even if he has to encroach on Checo’s hiding spot to avoid being caught.
Checo, who had planned to take a nap in a crate during the whole thing, would like it if Max got off of him.
