Summary
Tails and Amy were doing a test flight with a new engine, trying out it's long range autopilot.
Something goes wrong though and Tails is unable to do anything about it, not to mention the auto pilot sent them over the ocean instead of the set flight path.
Luckily, they hit an island.
Unluckily, it is void of any sentient life or technology... Also, the plane is kaput.

Sonic has had enough of Amy constantly chasing him. He says some things that finally reach the pink hedgehog. Now with her heart crushed, another hedgehog takes the spot the blue blur left in her heart, but it is a bit rocky to start. How does a sweet, innocent looking girl get his attention. Go to his friend of course! Watch the slow decent of Amy becoming a bit more dark, and a Shadow getting some light shined on him.

We know the regular story of Big Guy(Josh), Kelp, and Coral. A pleasant storyline that, at the moment, is still ongoing.
But... What if Josh showed up at an earlier time, in a different place...
What if he was found in Octo Canyon, just as Octavio escaped his snow globe for the first time?...
Before Kelp was at the institute...
Before the second stealing of the Great Zap Fish...
Before the deep sea metro...
Before C0R41 and M0R41 ever thought of leaving the domes...
Lets just say that Octavio is willing to insure his army has a tentacle up, no matter what it takes...
And he will use the recently discovered human to do it.
(Note: Josh, Coral, and Marina are all 18 in this. I know that the original timeline doesn't quite add up, but this is a different timeline. As for their parents?... Let's just say that the powers that be MAY put a little drama here and there.

Summary
I have read (and technically wrote) fanfics (and experienced fanworks in general) for a long time, some I am sure a lot of people don't know, or just don't exist anymore.
This is just a kind of list/journal/archive of what I remember. If I can find the fic again, I will state the name and where to find it, but I would appreciate if anybody comments on knowing one at some point of having vague memories of it.
So, this is a kind of "Find a fic/Discussion". I am writing this similarly to my "Waifu Review" series, taking it seriously to an extent, but also putting in a small bit of commentary/humor.
Fandoms to expand as I remember more, but most are probably Sonic based, as that is what brought me into fanfics and other things.

#3 Most Hits for the "Human in Splatoon" Tag, let's goooooo!!! Edit: as of January 2025, no longer number 1... I expected something like this to happen. XD
Kelp is an assistant to Professor Shellendorf the 2nd. (Professor Shell for short.) They have been on an expedition to the Splatlands to find possible artifacts from ancient times. They don't find any, but they do stumble across a living fossil. They are not sure how it survived in the Splatlands for so long, but they are determined to take it back with them and study it. It seems intelligent, but there is a slight problem... That being a language barrier.
(For clarification. All characters in romantic relationships in this fic are 18 or older. No smut, references to smut later though. The mature rating is for language and anatomy talk as a precaution. Also, you do not need to read the past parts of this series to understand much. It just adds a bit of lore and explains a few things not really talked about in this one, but not necessary.)

Suddenly Ochako is now on forced leave from being a hero till her 'situation' is over and she is back in fighting shape. Izuku couldn't be happier, until worries fill his head and old wounds open. (Both mental and physical.) Eri doesn't understand what everyone's problem is. "Daddy is amazing and sweet!"
But there are some things about her new daddy that Eri has not seen yet... How will she react when a gentle man is sent over the limit?

When he meets a pink haired hyper focused girl that can help him go through with his plan, he thinks things will work out. However, Mei is a perceptive girl when she wants to be, what can she uncover about her new test subje- I mean business partner.

You fight with the ropes, and the sounds seem to alert somebody.
You didn't expect the person to be a 4 and a half foot tall squid person.
Realistically, you panic.
