Summary
When Harry Potter was eight years old, his home was visited by the notorious serial killer Lord Voldemort, known for slaughtering entire families—children included.
But for some reason, Harry was spared, and Voldemort’s reign of terror came to a halt.
Twelve years later, Harry is a university student studying forensic psychology, still trying to understand what happened that fateful night—and why Voldemort, a man so monstrously cruel, chose to treat him with kindness.
Then Harry meets a new professor, who feels strangely familiar. Gruesome murders begin occurring all over London, following a disturbingly familiar modus operandi. And Detective Albus Dumbledore is certain that Harry is the key to capturing Voldemort once and for all.
After all, he promised Harry he would come back for him someday.
