Summary: When John meets Lisa for the first time in game, this isn't the first time he's been trying to save a possessed woman. It's not even the first time he might have had to save Lisa.
I think the connection between John and Lisa is really interesting and I definitely interpreted it in a specific way, ie explicitly platonic and familial. If you disagree, I get it.
