Summary
Thor realizes that there is something odd about Loki's eyes prior to the invasion. He starts asking questions. It doesn't take long to figure out that Loki is not acting of his own free will.
Tony Stark has been forced to do as an enemy commands. Steve Rogers has seen the atrocities manipulative madmen are willing to commit. Clint, Logan, Bruce and Natasha have been subjected to said madmen. They all know what it is to lose themselves, and to seek redemption.
Together, this band of broken heroes draws a line in the sand. They will not tolerate any tyrant, foreign or domestic. That includes Nick Fury and the WSC. It includes Thaddeus 'Thunderbolt' Ross. It includes Odin. And it includes Thanos.
But the road to success isn't going to be easy. The Avengers have to unite Earth - and with the aid of Frigga, the entirety of the Nine Realms, to defeat Thanos. People they think are friends will actually be enemies. People they think are enemies will be friends. Old foes will rise from obscurity. Obstructionist assholes will cause all kinds of trouble.
The Avengers will have to find their way through the mess. Along the way, they learn to trust each other. They learn to help each other. They become a family.

Keith huffed as Lance and him struggled to carry another set of boxes into the small dorm room. Keith had lived in an apartment with Shiro for the first year of college, but Matt and him had decided to move in together and Keith was forced into a dorm.
Luckily, Lotor's roommate had dropped out so there was an extra bed in his room. Keith was extremely grateful that his friend was allowing him to move into the space that he had the chance to claim as his own.
Speaking of Lotor, his tall friend was currently spread-eagle, stretched over the two side-by-side beds, his torso suspended in the gap between the beds.

Summary
After the Promised Day messes things up a little, Fuhrer Grumman and his new government decide to reach out to the United Nations in order to establish relations with other countries and leave Amestris' bloody past behind. Unfortunately, the UN refuses to work with a country that has a well known child soldier, who has not even finished school, working for them. At the same time, some Heroes in Japan realize, that the noumus could be somehow linked to chimeras, products of cruel alchemy.
With a move that kills all the birds with one stone, Amestris sends their child soldier to school, Japan gets a State Alchemist to help with the noumus, and UA class 1-A gets a transfer student.
This fic is abandoned and unfinished. Enjoy what's left.
