Time can hear a loud crashing and yelling from beyond his door. And it's not even nine yet. Great.
He sighs. He can't afford to be late this morning. So he readies himself to walk right past whatever chaos the boys are getting up to. He straightens his back, pulls out his phone, puts it to his ear, scripts out an imaginary meeting for realism, and opens his door.
He takes a step out into the hallway. Then Time stops short. Stares.
Four, from his spot dangling from the chandelier three stories in the air, stares back. "Good morning."

Having these discussions are probably Time’s least favorite part of housing a herd of half-feral boys. ‘Throwing things in the house is prohibited’ and ‘Clothes are required in the communal spaces of the house’ and ‘Overnight house guests cannot surpass the maximum occupancy of your room for legal reasons’ are just a few of the many, many conversations Time has had to suffer through. Some easier, some downright soul sucking.
The ‘You’re making everyone uncomfortable because you’re building a terrifying death contraption in the garage’ is slowly edging closer and closer to the headache-inducing type.
A contraption of steel gears and coiled springs sits upon a styrofoam mannequin head. It’s wired and welded together without a hint of Four’s usual subtlety or elegance. The metal mass of repurposed scrap metal is cobbled together into a terrifyingly headgear designed to tear open one's jaw and face with one brutal rip.
It reminds Time, horrifically, of some sort of reverse bear trap.
AKA Four decides to express himself artistically. Time does not appreciate it.

“You seem like a really nice guy,” She says, “And I happened to notice that you always stick around for my whole shift even though you don’t buy anything other than your coffee. So… do you want to grab something later?”
Four sticks around because the cafe lets him sit as long as he wants and he gets unlimited refills of his small black coffee for just three rupees a day. The place is dry and warm and gives him a space to work on applications. It helps that the staff is nice, but Four stays here for hours because he doesn’t have anywhere else to go. He didn’t even realize he tended to come in when this woman was here.
But he can’t tell her that. He doesn’t want to embarrass her. So he smiles back, eyes flickering down to check her nametag. Erune. “Yeah, actually. I’d love to.”

Champion bluntly responded, “Yes, he was flying parallel to the building.“
