It can’t be a standard name they give orphans, because even when he still stayed in the orphanage, he was the only one with that name. Plenty of kids had no last name at all, which makes it more believable that Uzumaki is his real family name.
But what does that mean? Who are the Uzumaki? Is he the only one left? How can he find out? Were his family shinobi? Merchants? Regular civilians?
He is determined to find out.

They should have turned back after the Demon Brothers ambushed them. They should have run when Kakashi told them to, when Momochi Zabuza stepped out of the mist. But they didn't, and now Team 7 was injured, tired, and alone, Kakashi-sensei so badly wounded they weren't sure he'd live through the night.
Meanwhile, Senju Tobirama thought he understood time-space seals enough to experiment with them on his own. Waking up disoriented in an unfamiliar cave, more injured than he'd been since the founding of Konoha obviously proved him wrong. Touka and Mito would have never let him hear the end of it--if Tobirama hadn't managed to transport himself 70 years into the future, that is.

Summary
Before his death, Tobirama set up a safe-guard for the village. If any suspicious movement were to happen with the Uchiha clan's chakra, he would be pulled back to life. So here he was, ready to put the clan back in it's place once more.
Come to find, it wasn't the Uchiha who needed their asses handed to them. He finds out soon enough that apparently his seal counts 'All but three Uchiha dying' as a good enough reason to revive him.
If someone had told him that his scroll was going to bring him back to life so that he could babysit a six-year-old Uchiha child and play tug-a-war over village responsibilities with a half-dead Uchiha sapling, maybe he wouldn't have crafted it after all.
Unfortunately, it was too late to brood on now.

Two weeks after Jaskier left Geralt at the mountain, the bard found himself in some backwater town of god knows where minding his own when he overheard the alderman talking to some of his guards. Curiosity peaked when the word "Witcher" was heard.

Soap growls in frustration at the man-handling. “I’ll have your fucking medical license for this, this is wrong and you know it.”
Ghost chuckles and shakes his head, leaning over to speak directly into Soap’s ear. “You won’t say a bloody thing. And do you want to know how I know that Johnny?” His nickname comes out patronizing, shifting further away from any lingering pretend decorum. He doesn’t wait for Soap to respond before pushing his lab coat back just enough for Soap to see his occupied hip holster. “In fact, I think you’re going to start being a very good boy for me, whether you want to or not.”
Soap pants heavily, some cocktail of rage and arousal, as he takes in the threat and realizes he is in fact utterly fucked. His head hitting the padded back rest again is the sound of his defeat.

Summary
To the King, the wielder of the Master Sword must be a Hylian, so when he met the wielder who was a young Sheikah, he took him and forced him into becoming a Hylian Knight. His excuse was that wielding such a sword meant that he was now property of the Kingdom. The king made the poor boy into a tool for the kingdom, a tool who possesses a broken soul.
However, the princess never got along with Link, with her hatred growing each day at him, perhaps it was the reason why she never awakened her powers when the Calamity came.
One by one they all died, including the princess who was taken to the Shrine of Resurrection. Link’s body was never found until a few years later by someone who was not from Hyrule.
(AKA this is the story where I get characters and creatures from different Zelda games -even though I have not played most of them- put them in this story and make it work. So don't be too surprise if you notice a familiar character or creatures that did not appear in botw)
