Summary
I love Mystreet canon very much, but I had some ideas I wanted to play with for an alternate timeline + “what if”s for the characters, so this is me having fun with that!
My spins-on-things for this fic:
- Ein x Aaron toxic lovers conflict instead of Ein x Aphmau conflict. Ein and Aphmau are half-siblings.
- Reworking the werewolf worldbuilding lore, more details in notes
- Enemies to lovers soulmates au Aarmau
- I go ham on the dubious human experimentation aspects of Mystreet lore + play way more into Michael and Co. as main antagonists
- Knowledge of MCD (& preferably my MCD rewrite) is required for this fic to make sense. I’ll be playing into their “past lives”/the Divine Warriors relics lore in this fic. Consider this a direct sequel to my MCD rewrite!
- Purely just for whimsical funsies, I’ll be playing around a lil w/ the characters genders! Everyone is queer, basically. More details in author notesEnjoy!

A Shadow Knight Switch MCD AU! Garroth and Aphmau (and likely other characters…) are now shadow knights, while other characters like Zenix, Sasha and Gene are alive and well, mortal and good. Aphmau is both the reincarnation of Irene… and the newest vessel of the Shadow Lord, with a fiery and justice-fueled cause, seeking to destroy everything the last Irene had created. Will she be a savior and make a better world, or will she leave it all rendered to smoke and flames?
