   Summary

   One day, a young woman by the name of Aphmau left her mother’s cottage and adventured out into the world for the very first time, eyes bright and sparkling with innocent joy.

   Ten hours later, her dead body was found in the woods by a wandering hunter.

   Aphmau’s soul woke up in a white void, with a churning in her heart that felt sharply unfamiliar, yet hauntingly… exactly like the feeling of an old home. A man made of black and red smoke and swirling fire met her on the other side, as he had been waiting to do, for hundreds of years.
