Despite a smear campaign backed by the Cerberus Assembly, Thelyss’s actual role in the relic heist deviates significantly from what has been purported by Martinet Ludinus Da’leth and the journalists on his payroll. Anyone with access to evidence and abundant testimony can see for themselves the hand that illegal extortion and contractual abuses had in making the cards fall where they fell.
The following timeline intends to contextualize Widogast and Thelyss’s individual music careers, their collaborations, and the events leading up to and surrounding: (a) the crimes of Volstrucker Records CEO Trent Ikithon, and (b) Ikithon and Martinet Ludinus Da’leth’s undiscussed roles in the Mouthpiece of the Luxon Scandal.
Interviews were conducted individually in 840. Accounts of the same event will differ between interviewee, so it’s up to the jury to determine the truth from the canon of events documented in Widogast & the Mighty Nein.

But things aren’t much better up in the esteemed topside half of their city, where Viktor struggles to help his fellow man of science Jayce evade the law and make real a dream that could help pull the Undercity back from the edge of ruin.
As if all of that isn’t bad enough, forces are intent on using the residents of the Lanes as pawns in an aspiring political game. Will secrets old and new alike bring this fragile family back together, or tear them apart for good?

That nameless fucker got to choke on Viktor’s praise, got to gorge on his unraveling in ways that Jayce only caught secondhand, while he rotted on the opposite side of the hallway, working his own mouth around those stolen syllables like a deranged ventriloquist. La chair est faible – flesh bartering what it cannot keep. Jayce’s proved weakest in the humiliating ways jealousy prefers: twitching, salivating, writhing in sheets that smelled of no one but himself.

There was a blue screen flickering in front of them—Hextech, he thought, for a terrified moment, before something in his blood told him they’d fallen asleep watching something together, a movie, which he sort of understood, even if he didn’t think he could explain it.
In the cold glow of the screen, Jayce looked strangely… exposed. It was easier to look at Jayce through the beady white eyes of a god, or his soul in the cosmos, than it was to look at what Viktor had done to him now. For a moment he touched their foreheads together—selfish, selfish—just to feel Jayce’s warmth on his skin. The illusion that he had started something instead of ending it, saved someone instead of ruining him.

“A ten year old robbed you in the technical sense because you cannot haggle,” Viktor said bluntly.
“Yeah and if he hadn’t, I might not have met you,” Jayce said, bumping his shoulder against Viktor’s.
Viktor blushed. He wished Jayce wouldn’t say things like that. It made it harder to maintain their friendly whatever it was they had going on for nearly two years now.
Viktor is attacked while visiting the Undercity. He realizes he might not belong anywhere. Jayce has some thoughts on that.
