Tensions are high as the Red Hood has barely started joining the bats on missions, and Jason is determined to protect this fragile truce with the people he could one call his family. So when he finds himself in an all-too familiar situation (a robin, a warehouse, and a bomb), he makes a decision. Somehow this spirals into what might be the worst week of his second life. As it turns out, not everybody is supportive of the way he handles his body and what happens to it... But perhaps, it's for the better, just this time.

Iwaizumi's attention was caught by a pile of fabric down by the end of his bed.
Of course, it was Oikawa’s – one of his sweatshirts this time, with ‘Area 53’ on the front in bold letters and a UFO in the background. For a moment, he considered running it across the road back to Oikawa, but something made him pause.
Without permission, his eyes glanced over at the hoodie from a few nights ago, still on the floor where he left it. Oikawa must not have noticed it, or he definitely would have taken it back with him, calling Iwaizumi a thief all the while. He glanced back at the sweatshirt in his hands, his mouth suddenly dry.
He could take them both back straight away. Forget any thoughts of what he could do otherwise.
Fuck it.

She doesn’t tend to hold onto things, and she isn’t exactly the nostalgic type, but words, even the ones she can’t use, are a particular vice of hers, and she feels no need to break the habit anytime soon. She likes to go through some of them and listen from time to time, just to hear the voices of their senders. They keep her company when she can’t sleep on long flights, or they remind her that she doesn’t need to be lonely, because people out there are thinking of her.
Others, though. Others only see the light of day when she’s a different kind of lonely.

Summer draped sweat and lethargy in a heavy blanket, and it presented in the barest traces of sweat he picked up along his tongue. “Later.” Adam said, and he meant it as a joke. It was a joke.
“Gross.” Blue said, where Ronan went silent and no one, really, noticed.

“Really?” Hajime questions. He reaches a hand out, and Oikawa flinches away out of reflex. The color of Iwaizumi’s arm reminds him of merciless pain. “Then why can’t I touch you, Tooru?”
Oikawa feels his hands burn. He flexes them to stop the shaking, ignoring the pain.
“Why won’t you look at me like you used to?” Hajime asks.
“I don’t know what you mean.”
“Don’t.” Hajime’s voice is sharp, and it digs into Oikawa’s skin like a thousand needles. He thinks he may be collapsing, but he’s not sure. “Don’t do that with me. Not right now.”
Or, Oikawa loves Iwaizumi. And he's never been more ruined.
