Summary

His little wife's wild looks seemed somewhat strange when paired with her subdued personality. She spoke clearly but quietly, and though she repeated her courtesies, if a little coldly, she did not smile, nor did those words sound natural from her mouth. She was her brother Ned in every respect, solemn, serious and reserved. And it didn't suit her one bit.
"Just count yourself lucky I won't put up the same fight for you I did for him," She tossed her hair slightly, dark curls dancing in the warm candlelight, an old, proud defiance that was clearly familiar to her returning. Keisuke Amamiya had built a brilliant career in the U.S. Air Force, but the chaotic withdrawal from Afghanistan in 2021 put an end to it. Now, traumatized and disillusioned, he returns to his younger brother in Tokyo, forced to battle the ghosts of his past under the fire of public condemnation.
Post-canon, five years after Joker and the gang beat a god. The idea was born while I was reading famous ShuMako fanfic, in which Sae desperately wished Ren had a handsome older brother. The plan is to introduce characters from other games in the Persona series as the narrative progresses.

Summary
TW: Panic attack. Depression. Anxiety.
Makoto joins the Phantom Thieves with a clear objective, to change her sister's heart.
It seemed easy at first but when she learnt about what having a Palace implied, she panicked.
A character study about Makoto's grief regarding Sae's Palace as the game didn't pay it any attention.
"When the alarm went off, Makoto was already awake. Sleeping was impossible for her despite the soreness and exhaustion that invaded her whole body, and her stomach refused to accept any kind of food except for a cup of tea. The morning at the Niijima household was completely silent, probably Sae didn’t came back last night at the end. Without packing anything for lunch Makoto left for school with a strong feeling of wanting to just disappear choking her. But instead of doing so she did what she was already used to do: pushed everything down, acted like nothing happened and pretended she had everything under control."

The portrayal of Makoto and her sorrows over her sister having a palace here really touched me profoundly, to the point that it sparked my desire to write an entire saga about this very topic. Double or Nothing exists solely thanks to this wonderful story.
