They watch the Harry Potter books... but not everything - it's a fun project I decided to start and it's not going to be too long. Also, it won't move past the fifth book, since... they haven't been through any more adventures yet. Hope you like it :)

"Oh no," She whispered, her eyes wide as Percy screamed, as if he knew then and there the weight of the name branding itself across his flesh. He cried until his tawny cheeks turned red, until the color of health pulsed through his pale, drying skin. Until Sally's heart broke, watching in horror as the gold settled over Percy's heaving chest in lethal, curving, serpentine cursive.
Phoebus Apollo.
The initial hope she'd had of a soulmate for her beloved baby was replaced with the cold truth. Any soul bound to burn for divinity was destined only to ash.

Dropped into a remote, neutral trade town far from the active skirmishes of the Uchiha and Senju clans, Mitsuru doesn't try to be a hero. He just tries to be useful. He builds a life in the shadows of the conflict, grinding lenses from quartz and teaching the local blacksmiths about the geometry of light.
