Summary
When a citizen of Mondstadt is found to be involved in a series of brutal kidnappings across Fontaine, the Knights of Favonius are given an ultimatum from none other than the Hydro Archon herself: either clean up their mess and catch the guilty culprit, or have their Grand Master— Acting or non— face trial. The accusation? Concealing person from arrest. The penalty? Life sentence.
The main issue, Jean thinks as her stomach sinks at the contents of Focalors’ missive, is that the suspected criminal has ties with the Order. Which means that some of her men could be accomplices. That they can’t be trusted to be sent to Fontaine.
And that leaves Jean with only one person to plead for help.
Or; upon Jean’s request, Diluc travels to Fontaine to help take care of a case which so happens to be under the investigation of someone who goes by the name of the Duke of the Fortress of Meropide.

Summary
After his spectacular failure in charming Monsieur Neuvillette, Wriothesley retreats to the Fortress, wanting nothing more but to take some time off to heal the emotional damage. He is not to be granted even a moment of peace however, from an illness caused by the unstoppable rains, Sigewinne being upset with him, all the way to Lady Furina herself showing up, babbling something about lumitoile and weddings. It is then that Neuvillette also pays him a visit and shares a much unexpected confession. The two might need to take a moment to talk things out... if they don’t get distracted by any other activities, that is.

Hopelessly outmatched Tommy intervenes, handing an even better prize to the Syndicate on a silver platter. But before the Syndicate’s most sadistic leader can turn his latest catch into another pawn in his game, said sidekick throws himself in harm's way in order to save the villain's life.
The Syndicate always repays its debts, even to heroes. A life for a life. But this victory for Order came at the cost of the Syndicate’s claim on one unaware sidekick. And no one escapes the Syndicate.

In the long list of rules that Dream gave him, there were four that stuck out as the most important. Four rules that he could never break.
Stick close to the island when swimming. Always be back before seven. Never complain or hesitate to give Dream his pelt. And never, ever interact with humans.
Tommy didn’t break any of those rules often, and if he did it was a one time thing, a mistake. But this wasn’t a mistake. This was a very deliberate, very stupid move on his part and Dream would kill him if he knew what Tommy was doing. Fifteen years Tommy had lived here, and never once had he intentionally broken one of Dream’s rules. Until now.
He swims closer to the three humans.
