Their son held the violin out to his sister, winking. “Your choice. I wrote a vocal accompaniment if you’d prefer that.”
Her voice carried through the hall beautifully, a perfect complement to the instrumental composition. When the song ended, Aline nearly begged them to begin again. They could live in this moment a little longer. They could stay here.
But songs ended.

Marcone hates the thought of Harry being in a relationship with Thomas. Mainly because if he had Harry's attention he'd never let him go. It drives him insane that Thomas just doesn't seem to care that much but Harry seems to love him anyway.
Marcone concocts a plan to make Harry happy--by making sure Thomas makes Harry happy--no matter how much it pains Marcone to do so. If/when that doesn't work there's always the last resort--steal Harry away to do it himself.
Bonus if Harry is completely attached to Marcone and finds his machinations cutely endearing/baffling/disturbing/irritating.

I spent a lot of time, after the Wen Qing time travel fic, trying to decide whether I believed Wei Wuxian was actually capable of doing time travel without causing more problems than he solved. I decided maybe! ...But only by accident.

There were plenty of times in his disciple hood that Binghe had faked clumsiness in order to steal a little bit of skinship with his master. Shen Qingqiu liked to be touched even though he didn’t permit that many people to get close to him so there was always a thread of guilty delight in his amused chuckle whenever Binghe sacrificed his own dignity in order to give them what they both wanted.
This time, though, it really was an accident when Binghe pitched forward to land face-first in his master’s chest.
Or: Post Abyss Luo Binghe fails a critical agility check and accidentally discovers an alternate route in the Jin Lin City story arc
