A holy burn against some unholy creature. The touches he longed for in the dark had hurt and ached and left an itch that could only be scratched by violence. By then, even without the words to describe it, he knew; all things good were no longer for him.

Summary
He left at midnight, after muffling another scream into his sheets to make sure that nothing woke the house up. He walked in the empty, dark streets, purposefully, eyes darting left and right for safety’s sake. He walks all the way to his home island’s harbour, where, hidden away in a cave (ironic), Yellow waits for him.
(She’s always been patient with him, waiting for him to fly her, waiting for him to be confident enough to become her paladin in a true sense, now, waiting for him to come home with her.)

“ Hey, Shiro.”
“Yeah Lance?” answers Shiro, from his place perched on his and Adam’s kitchen aisle. He’s looking at some files, that much Lance can tell, but they’re in a language he doesn’t know. Which isn’t hard to do, Lance only knows like, four well enough to read.
Besides, there are some more pressing matters at hand.
“What was your death like?” Lance would have tried to be more gentle with his question, but he currently doesn’t see a way to do it. Shiro visibly recoils, and Lance winces till Shiro puts his human hand on his shoulder, smiling reassuringly.

(aka, none of the other paladins know how to get enough sleep, the legs of voltron really aren’t paid enough for this so they use the newly completed internet connection to get a chance of getting paid for this via youtube streaming, the internet is confused, concerned and, surprisingly enough, extremely intrigued. it all spirals from there.)
