Summary
Jason didn’t know when it started. If he thought about it, he remembered the bright light that surrounded his mom in her last days. After that, he noticed the way some people lit up, outlined in a growing brightness that emitted from the edges of their beings. The brighter the individual, the closer they were to death.
At the parties that Bruce insisted on dragging him to, he expected the dim light from the tired old businessmen who drank too much and were limping closer to their ends, glowing a little more every time Jason saw them.
What he did not expect was for the 12-year-old neighbor kid to light up like a damn Christmas tree the second Jason laid his eyes on him.

Summary
The video started with Red Hood holding a man in place against an alley wall and ripping his own helmet off. He tossed it down the alley and the camera jolted as the man holding it flinched. But the view stabilized just in time to see the Red Hood bite down on his victim’s neck.
What looked like a strange, heavy make out session drew to a close with Hood pulling back to reveal a mess of blood all over the side of the poor man’s neck. The camera man gasped, and Hood turned toward him—showing viciously big fangs in his mouth, coated in red blood. His eyes were glowing alien green under the domino lenses.
Hood pulled away from his victim to advance on the camera man.
The video clicked off.

After a moment, Jason rubs his face against Bruce's, before shuffling down a little to get into a comfortable position, tiny hands holding on tightly. He becomes a warm and constant weight on Bruce's back. The young mer's tail circles around him, and Bruce gently pats the soft scales comfortingly.
"Yeah," Jason says with only slightly wavering confidence, feeling just a little braver now that Bruce's got a good hold on him, "Let's go!"

Romance peaked with Mary Shelley carrying around the calcified heart of her late husband wrapped in his poetry.
The problem with this, is that Dan is very in love and really wants to prove that to Jason. Or rather, the problem is that Dan hasn't had a heart in a very long time.
Oh well, if you don't have a heart of your own, store-bought is fine. People donate theirs to science all the time, this isn't all that different.

Much to everyone's better judgement, it is not unusual for people to try and set up others with the Red Hood.
Jason has had more than a handful of old and impressed ladies try to sneak him the number of their grandsons as a thank you for the one time he fixed their roof (after crashing through it), or constantly asking him to come help them find a missing purse the same time their newly-single daughter is in town.
He always declines as politely as he can, or accepts the baked treat that comes with the number and just throws out the latter.
But this? This is a first.
(The Gotham Marina thinks Tim is cheating on Bernard with Red Robin, so they intervene. Jason is tired.)

Danny has been deaged, he is hungry and very angry. Given his tiny body and fluctuating powers, there's not much he can do about that. He has questions that need answers, why is he here, where is his family, what is going on?
Also why is everyone so weird?
Danny gets thrown into Omegaverse DC, coming from somewhere were that is a fanfiction category, it's a bit of a culture shock.
Poor Danny has so navigate this world with new rules he doesn't know or understand. Find a way home, maybe find out what happen to the him from this universe, and try not to get attached.
The Batfam are just excited for the new pup in the family.

The air between them smells like vindication.
