Peter tries his door handle; it doesn't budge. The vents snap closed.
"FRIDAY?" he calls, tense.
Her response is stilted and garbled, but he gets the gist. There's an intruder, and there's an unknown gas that's been released in the air throughout the Tower floors - where the rest of the Avengers are.
Soon, allies will be turned enemies, and he'll be locked alone in a building with them all.

...It wasn't his fault that they weren't more direct.

Someone is trying to kill Clark Kent, and they, along with all of their hired assassins, are slowly losing their minds as this clearly average and in no way extraordinary man continues to remain on the mortal coil despite their best attempts to change just that.

Harry Potter is living by the barest means of the word. He eats, he drinks, he sleeps - reads, too, at least, getting lost in the words as if he's escaping to another reality.
The final battle ended nearly two years ago, and, now, he's never been more alone in his life, secluded as he's made himself to be in Grimmauld Place. There wasn't any other way for him to keep on if he wanted to escape the simultaneously adoring and deriding masses as well as his former friends turned manipulators.

But that’s completely and utterly besides the point. The more relevant issue is that he’s currently strapped in a car with someone who is literally driving blind.

Peter overhears some gang members plotting to go after Matt because of an upcoming trial, so, obviously, Peter goes to give his fellow vigilante a hand. There's just one teeny weeny, itty bitty, inconspicuous little problem.
Peter was absolutely not prepared to deal with the fact that Matt is certifiably insane.
