There was one comparison he couldn’t shake off, no matter how hard he threw his punches.
“Like a dog, always at his masters’ heels” Ernie had spat back at him, cradling his jaw.
“I bet he feeds you table scraps when you beg” Jumbo snarled back at him as he clutched his right eye with his hands.
“Mister Mate may as well drag you around on a leash” Ali had hissed back at him as he tried to stop blood dripping onto the floor from his nose.

It had been a while since he’d brought back a girl, he’s been busy setting up links in ports with Allan, trying to find the best people to help distribute Sallad’s product. He just hadn’t felt like it lately and he hadn’t really given it much thought until Ernie (fucking Ernie) brought it up during a card game.
