Hide couldn’t relate to the fear of ghouls. It was even more unbelievable to think of how scared people were of them when he had a perfectly lovely and tame one of his own.
Of course, Hide had a number of advantages in handling this one. Hide had already known Kaneki for over a decade. He had long established his bond of trust with him, and gained the ghoul’s own in return. He understood Kaneki inside and out, having memorised everything that made him the person he was, and everything that made him tick. Every need and every response. Training was barely necessary by that point, and Kaneki was already more than willing to give himself over to Hide.

Hide knows how to control the scene and allow for Kaneki to freely give in to the heightened needs and urges of his ghoul body.

But when he thought of being married to a random person pale eyes and golden brown hair filled his thoughts and- No. Shikamaru Nara wasn't in love with Neji Hyuuga. He wasn't. But that didn't mean he wanted to marry some random women- He couldn't- he-'Or
Shikamaru will be the next head of the Nara clan, this in and of its self isn't a major problem (If Shikamaru can convince himself of that) if he didn't have to find a lover before his clan decided one for him.
OR
Shikamaru has a year to find his future husband that he will be with for the rest of his life, no pressure right?
