The first petals appeared mere days after Hannibal had received the news of Will’s marriage.
Alana had been the one to tell him, looking insufferably smug, not even trying to pretend that she didn’t enjoy seeing the brief flicker of jealousy and grief on Hannibal’s face before he got his placid mask back in place.
Though the abrupt delivery of this news had caught Hannibal off-guard, the news itself wasn’t completely unexpected—Hannibal had yet to receive any correspondence from Will since he had surrendered. Clearly, Will was determined to play the losing game of denying himself his true nature for as long as he possibly could.
But that was fine. Will could play house, could put together his apple pie family with no place for Hannibal in it, for as long as he wanted. Hannibal could wait. He would wait months, years, decades if that’s what it took. Will would come crawling back to him eventually, Hannibal was certain—it was just a matter of waiting him out.
So no, the news of Will’s marriage had not surprised him.

Summary
When Will was fifteen, he and a first year medical student Hannibal were survivors of plane crash in the Canadian wilderness, leaving them waiting for rescue and resorting to drastic means of survival for a year and a half.
Twenty years later, the few survivors who made it to rescue are being targeted by someone being dubbed as the "Final Destination Killer." Now a reclusive adult, Will is asked to work on the case by the FBI, reopening old wounds and threatening to expose secrets he's been keeping for two decades.

Knowing that there will be no other ending, knowing what is going to kill him almost gives him a sense of power even in this setting. Falling to a human would have been underneath him. Insulting, even."
A mix of mythological and light urban fantasy AU. Hannibal is himself, Will is not in FBI but instead is a legally protected species of monster living on his own with his dogs in Wolf Trap. They meet. Will is not impressed, Hannibal is bespelled.

The year is 3012, humanity now lives on arcs in space as well as on Earth. As part of the Arc systems, an AI named WILL has been enacted as a catch all - every computer, every camera, complete but passive data from every and all operations. WILL's purpose? To analyze data, and send it to a profiler for review, to track behavior patterns and predict risk and outcome. Dr. Lecter is one of his keepers, someone that deals with the reports from the silent work-room console upon America's arc. WILL was by design, supposed to stay objective, separating emotion from data to allow the humans to see more clearly and prevent crime.
When the system starts deviating, and WILL seems to start adapting, learning, even mimicking human reactions and interactions, what could it mean for the arc and everyone on it? What happens when Hannibal decides his is fond of a computer program?

A Season 2 AU in which Will Graham did not, at any point, accuse Hannibal of being the Chesapeake Ripper.
Will Graham is the smartest person most people will ever have the misfortune to meet. Hannibal Lecter has been no exception; he's brilliant, but his failing is that he assumes he's the mastermind in every situation. He still thinks Will didn't pick up on every weird joke, every coincidence, every threat disguised as a charming quip, every flashing neon sign that screams "Hannibal Lecter is the Chesapeake Ripper!"
Now, Will has to decide what he wants from Hannibal. For the first time in his life, it seems like there's a possibility that somebody might be close enough to his level for a real connection. Hannibal is an apex predator in a garish suit, blind to Will's superior camouflage, and the Ripper's obsession with Agent Graham is so obvious it's drawing attention from... undesirable sources. If Will can manipulate everything to his desired outcome, Hannibal could become the equal Will has always wanted.
If he wants to protect their fragile peace, it'll take a lot more than just Hannibal Lecter.
That's fine. After all, Will has never been able to stop himself at just one stray.

He knows he can’t afford to be picky—not in this kind of work, where jobs are hard enough to come by. And maybe if the boy’s just gonna keep ignoring him, they won’t have to cross paths all that much. He’s fine with that. Easier to keep his head down, get through the summer without any trouble. They won’t see each other.

As long as this heart keeps beating, he thinks, he has a reason to fight, a reason to live. He will be whatever Hannibal needs him to be.
