Summary
It’s not like he and Hollander haven’t had rough sex before, but it’s never been quite like this. He’s never touched him so brusquely or spoken in such a venomous way, and Hollander has never been so beautifully pliant and receptive.
Right now, he feels like he could break Hollander into pieces. It should probably bother him how badly he wants to do just that. It festers in his gut - a primal urge that fits his mood for the evening, raw and animalistic.
Ilya sees Shane with another man. Their typical lack of communication occurs, but that doesn't mean Ilya just lets it go.

“Fine,” Rozanov answers through clenched teeth.
Shane raises an eyebrow in silent provocation.
Ilya doesn’t rise to the bait.
“Keep going, Hollander,” he says. “I can do this all night.”

Ilya can’t fucking do this for much longer. They’ve been fucking for almost two hours, but to him it feels like days have passed.
“Please,” Ilya pleads openly, unable to hold it back anymore. “Fuck, faster, please.”
Ilya gets more than he bargained for after losing a bet to Shane.
(Shane walks Ilya like a dog. Again.)

Summary
This is how it happens sometimes.
Ilya’s usually the one in charge. He says just the right filthy, loaded, and persuasive words. He strips them both and pushes Shane onto the bed or the nearest flat surface. From the moment things get heated, Shane is usually putty in his hands.
Sometimes, though. Sometimes Ilya doesn’t call the shots (sometimes, maybe, he doesn’t want to). Sometimes, Shane makes a sharp, straightforward statement, leaving Ilya feeling unmoored. When this happens, any chance Ilya had at being in control is instantly gone.
Seven words from Shane, and Ilya loses every bit of power he may have held.

Summary
Sometimes (most of the time, Shane has learned), the most effective way to pull Ilya out of his head is to take a very direct approach. Shane cuts him off by kissing him hard and long, relishing in the feel of Ilya’s soft mouth. The fading taste of cigarettes is almost indulgent now, though he’ll never tell Ilya as much.
Ilya shifts his body over Shane, tangling their legs together as they fall back onto the bed. He pulls back to look at Shane, and Shane knows he’s won the battle when a fond, helpless smile tugs at the corners of Ilya’s lips.
Ilya can't sleep and is feeling a little down. Shane is happy to help him out.

Summary
Shane is quiet for just a moment too long, and Ilya is about to question it, but Shane leans forward and suddenly kisses him. It is tender and careful, not like the eager and heated way it was the night before. Ilya leans forward, gently pressing his lips against Shane’s and tracing one hand up his back.
The slow pace is odd yet enjoyable, though entirely unfamiliar. Most of their kisses are frantic and hungry, both of them trying to devour the other in the brief moments they share. They usually kiss as a prelude to something more, or in between the bitemarks they leave on each other's bodies. There’s this frenetic energy they share that never lets them stop and slow down.
This is so different.
A fix-it fic where Shane stays at Ilya's after the "tuna melt and ginger ale" scene. This takes place the following morning and contains no spoilers for the books or TV show.

Summary
When Alex doesn’t say anything, Henry reaches out across the table to tentatively wrap his elegantly long fingers around Alex’s hand. His thumb is resting on the knob of Alex’s wrist, and he swipes this thumb over the skin, almost absentmindedly. Alex can’t think of anything else, revelling in the feeling of Henry touching him again.
“Love,” Henry starts, voice sincere. “I have never needed space from you. I needed space from some… emotions I was feeling, and I’m so sorry I didn’t stop to think about how that would make you feel. Truly, it was nothing to do with you, I promise. If I haven’t thrown our friendship out of the window, I would want nothing more than to go back to how things were before. I mean it.”

“Gang up so we can beat the shit out of Hunter, yeah. Were you even listening to anything I just said?”
Or, Alex and Henry are rival bakers day-to-day, but a newcomer in the Park Slope Christmas Cookie Bake-Off has them becoming a lot closer than originally planned.

Summary
Henry hates New Year’s Eve.
To him, it’s just another excuse to throw a party and to get absolutely sozzled on whatever alcoholic drink happens to be handy. Or a shoddy reason to choose some empty resolution for the new year and often used as an opportunity to kiss a truly horrid amount of people.
While Henry is not morally opposed to kissing strangers or having a tipple or two–he does hazily remember his Oxford days–it’s simply not his cup of tea any longer. He’s grown and matured as a person. In other words, he’d much rather curl up on his sofa, Earl Grey in a mug beside him, Bake Off on the telly and his dog David at his feet than subject himself to a loud party or a rowdy crowd.
And if Henry is being honest, kissing strangers no longer holds any appeal. Not since he met Alex.
OR Henry hates New Year's Eve, until he doesn't.
