Shouto Todoroki's life revolves around one little thing, the only thing that keeps him from seeing those horrible memories and images, keeping him from staying up all night with panic attacks and nightmares and haunted by those images that flash through his mind, controlling his life- a little white pill.
Shouto Todoroki is addicted to drugs, much to his dismissal. He is addicted to that buzz he gets, that constant gratification that keeps him from feeling those horrible things and feeling anything at all. Slowly, he declined without realizing it, and the only people who did were his friends and coworkers.
After an altercation at a bar, Bakugou picks him up and manages to get the truth out of him- Shouto is an addict, and he needs help.

Summary
Hunter snapped back around, his cloak flying behind him. The beast hadn’t died. Instead, it reared back onto its hind legs and rolled its lips to expose a pair of blue eyes nestled high in its gums. It returned to all four legs with a loud CRUNCH in the snow, foam dripping from the corners of its maw as another low growl rumbled out.
The beast charged forward faster than Hunter could blink, and without his mind’s direction, he teleported in front of Lilith and pushed her out of the way.
Four white-hot daggers dug into his shoulder blade and ripped through his armor down to the base of his spine. His nerves lit on fire. A loud scream rang in Hunter’s ears, and a small part of him knew it was his voice.
His back was in ribbons, it had to be.
An accident on the Knee leaves the new Golden Guard hanging to life by a thread. After an unpleasant experience in the castle’s infirmary, he is summoned by Belos and taught a painful lesson for putting his life in jeopardy for a witch.

Hunter shook off the lingering adrenaline of the battle that had just ensued. Where.. Was he? He glanced around, trying to assess his surroundings. He could hear the Owl Lady, and see her weird bird tube and cat next to her. Wasn’t the human just with him? A quick inventory of the room offered that he was no longer in his unc-... Belos’s mind.
The golden guard was brought back into the present by Flapjack chirping in his ear. The familiar sound grounded him, but also reminded him what he had just seen. Belos… The sigils… The other golden guards, he was- a grimwalker? Everything he knew was a lie. He wasn’t half a witch. He wasn’t a witch at all. He was some sort of… clone. And the emperor knew that Hunter knew the truth.
“He knows,” Hunter gasped for breath. “H-He knows we were in there!”
Post Hollow Mind, Hunter runs away into the forest, unfortunately Belos still needs him for the Day of Unity.
But Hunter isn't the golden guard he used to be.
