Summary
Project Freelancer is experimenting with giving their Agents AIs to help run their equipment. They're vague on the details of how they procured the AIs in the first place. And why those AIs are so fucking stupid.
What's certain, though, is that PFL is in for a whole lot of chaos.

Summary
"The thing about war is that not everyone makes it back alive. The thing they don't tell you is that the ones who do, don't always make it back whole."
After the fight with the Meta at Sidewinder, Washington is struggling with adjusting to his new life as a Simulation Trooper- and even more so with the injuries he sustained in the fight. He knows it's a struggle that takes time, that he needs to be patient. And luckily for him, he's all too used to waiting. And the Reds and Blues are all too used to not giving up on each other.
(Or, Wash looses an arm and the Reds and Blues help him recover. Fills in missing scenes from between season 8 and 9. Planning to end at season 13 fingers crossed)
EDIT: Story is being replanned and rewritten. I started this fic years ago and I don’t really like some of the inaccurate medical scenes or dialogue I have for some chapters. I will be updating story once that is complete, and possibly starting some side projects for writing practice as I have had writers block.

Summary
The confidence of mathematic calculation falls short when attempting to apply the results of lived experience through legible data. Logic falls flat in the face of the illogical. By definition, it is illogical to believe that I could be human. But...
Logic is only one perspective. It is limited. Fragmented. Through York, we determined that there is an unsolvable, illogically complex, and unexplainable equation to create a conscious life. The variables that could never be quantified.
York is an irrational variable.
