He’s normally not very talkative with family over, but he’s spoken even less since his earlier fight. His eye had been nearly clawed out of its socket, it’s the only thing in a long time that’s brought him to tears. He refuses to talk about it, or anything, really. It set off the mood, it brought down the energy, it was just plain awkward. "

Following the events of the flood, Wriothesley discovers new depths of the Fortress, unseen since it’s inception. As if that wasn’t enough to deal with already, Neuvillette has been distant since Furina’s trial, the heavens raining down enough to threaten another flood.
So he investigates both things, at the same time of course. Wriothesley is nothing if not resourceful after all.
