There’s more people Robert recognises, now. Some of them come up to him and say hello – Bob, David, Tracy. Others just stare and retire to their tables to whisper unsubtly. Sam and Belle Dingle practically recoil when they see him, and hurry over for what Robert can only imagine is an Emergency Dingle Summit with Chas. By the time the pub’s half full, everyone in it seems to be whispering or texting, some doing both at once.
Robert’s starting to feel like this was a bad idea.

Summary
Callum breaks up with Ben, after he gets arrested doing another dodgy job for his Dad and Danny. He finally learns the truth about everything and can’t take anymore and leaves Ben for his own sanity. Finally Ben realises all the damage he’s done to Callum and himself. He decides he needs to fight for them and prove to Callum how much he means to him. Instead of being the Ben Mitchell he thinks he’s expected to be, he decides to become the one he’s always wanted to be. He also decides to let Callum go, let him learn how to be himself without Ben and wait for him to come back. Knowing that a love like theirs is special and they’ll always find a way back together.
