Begrudgingly, for the good of all, he will co-operate. Yet, though a good man, he is no less proud and ambitious.Can they find a healthy way to co-exist? Perhaps not. They are a little too awful to one another. Still, they will try.
Meanwhile, Elu Thingol's concerns are not unjustified, Artanis and Celeborn court, Findaráto is more than meets the eye, and Lúthien labours to make her own future possible. Can a somewhat better united Beleriand stand against Morgoth?

Unlike Sa’al, the creature has no qualms about torturing souls and prefers to chase its prey. It will be following the trail I have left behind. Hide here. I will lead it off.”
Or: Charles Rowland is sacrificed in the same ritual that killed Edwin Payne, seventy-three years earlier, only a short time before Edwin would have made it out of Hell on his own. Now, instead of being responsible for only himself, Edwin's got to get the both of them out of Hell. It's not going to be easy.

Yusuf knows how such things usually go: the mortal will move into his temple and help take care of it with his priests and priestesses, he will be fed, clothed and sheltered for as long as he lives. He might or might not come to regret his choice, but Yusuf likes to think the service won't be too onerous - he is not an unreasonable God, after all.
