Summary
“What are you doing?” he asks, dumbfounded.
“Isn’t it obvious? I’m climbing through the window.”
“You know that people created the doors just for this precise purpose?” Will rolls his eyes, but cannot stop himself from smiling.
“Yes, but it’s not that romantic, isn’t it?” Mike smiles, putting his hands on the windowsill, voice breaking on the romantic.
“Romantic?” Will says, confused, not sure if he heard him correctly.
“Romantic,” Mike frowns, trying to push himself to climb into the window. Will is just standing there, expectedly, observing his failing attempts.
“You don’t have an athletic bone in your body,” Will rolls his eyes and leans against the window still. “Are you sure you don’t want to try the door?”
“And risk being caught by your mother? I don’t know about you, but I would rather not explain to her why I decided to drop by almost at midnight with the expectation to spend the night in her son’s bedroom."
Or: Will comes out. Lucas and Dustin handled it pretty well. Mike Wheeler's reaction is a bit harder to read.

Something has gone terribly wrong. Without realizing it, Mike has slipped into a dark and horrifying pit, one that Karen is all too familiar with. This happens to boys sometimes; it’s been that way since Biblical times. Thankfully, it can be cured, and Karen loves her son too much not to help him. Unfortunately, the temptations are strong, so there’s a long road ahead. Karen constantly asks herself where she went wrong, and the answer is clear - it’s that damn Byers kid.
A look at Karen Wheeler and her relationships with her son and the Byers family throughout the years.

Summary
Like a puppy with her tail between her legs, Santos followed silently as Garcia guided them to a (mostly) vacant hallway, passing by Princess, who only smirked at her, and it was then that Santos knew how truly fucked she was.
Alone now, Garcia turned to Santos, her arms folded. “You better have a fucking bulletproof explanation.”
“I–” Trinity started. “I, um–” Oh god.
“What the fuck was that? Just because I needed a rain check?”
Santos could only stare dumbly.
“Jesus,” Garcia shook her head. “I thought you knew what this was.”
