“I hate Night Vale,” Phil says with a sigh, in the kind of voice that verbally suggests the frustrated pinching of the bridge of one’s nose. Or, at least, that’s how the voice on the radio describes it just a second later.
In which Phil and Clint are on assignment in Night Vale, the local radio station has taken to narrating their every movement, Phil hates Night Vale as much as Clint loves it, and they manage to have a moment in spite of that.

Cap relaxes his hold, but he stays where he is, still looming over him. “Clint. The compound’s been breached,” Rogers whispers urgently, then finally sits back and lets go of him.
There’s another explosion, closer this time and throwing more light. He turns his head sharply and sees Bucky Barnes hovering near the door, looking… off. Clint pushes Rogers and he finally stands up so Clint can scramble out of the bed and grab some clothes. He’s wearing only boxers because it’s fucking hot in Wakanda, and he catches Barnes’ eyes flicking across his body.
Clint long ago stopped being bothered by people’s reactions to the many scars on his body – not that that many people actually see them - but that doesn’t mean he appreciates when they stare. “Like what you see?” he asks with a hard edge as he pulls on his shirt. Barnes turns his head, at least having the decency to look embarrassed for being caught staring.
Rogers looks at them both impatiently and quickly switches gears. “Clint, I need you to take Bucky. Get him out of Wakanda and somewhere safe.”
OR
Bucky and Clint fall into each other. Bad shit happens. Then it all works out in the end.

Summary
What's a guy to do when he's been exiled from his homeworld for doing the right thing, especially when everyone else in the universe believes he's a badass who kicks ass and will tap any ass? Clint Barton had better figure it out soon or he may find himself caught up in a story bigger than his, dragged into an origin story that takes him in a completely different direction than he ever dreamed of, one that just might land him in the lap of a man who can accept him as he is.
A space opera told as a fictionalized account of Clint Barton's personal logs in the latter half of the 29th century. Space battles, corporate espionage, questionable motives, bad decisions, and sex ... so much sex ... may just lead Clint to find where he fits in a crazy, fast-changing universe.
This is part of my sexuality series: unlike the others which are all one-shots, in this story, I'm playing at a societal level, wondering just what a world where sex has only two rules (consent and age), spirituality is deep, fighting skills are legendary, and peace is the first option might look like. Wish me luck.

Summary
Everyone knows omegas can be dangerous. Once a cycle, in fact, when heat whispers at them to pick a fight and find the strongest alphas around to breed with. Stuck in Wakanda, a refugee from the USA and WSC, without access to the suppressants he's been using for years, Clint is a living, breathing weapon... who is far too dangerous to go around picking fights. While Clint's idea -- getting himself thrown in jail through his heat -- is stupid (what cell could hold him?), Laura's idea -- to send Steve to retrieve him -- is brilliant. Good thing Steve's up for it.
