Naruto laid on the ground almost lifeless as he heard Sakura pleading for him to get up. He could feel the tears fell on his face and the choked sobs she was trying to hold back.
He could hear footsteps approaching them. Judging by the chakra nature he guessed it was Sasuke.
It almost hurt knowing that Sasuke and him really could have been something. Maybe in another life.
In other words:
Naruto dies in the war and the Sage of Six Paths brings him to the past before the Uchiha massacre.

They decide it time for men to show women they aren’t weak and the boy they’re inhabiting will pave that way, Izuku Midoriya raised by the Primarchs to become a hero and show men can have power too and must deal with shadows if his new families past.
