Of all the people Eren was stuck completing this challenge with, Hanji was probably the most preferable. Well, Moblit may have been a little more preferable but Hanji was next best.
Alternatively, on their first vacation day No Name News releases a challenge video and Eren and Hanji are the two that are penalized (even though in Eren’s defense he’s not a member of No Name and therefore had no idea he was expected to participate)

There’s always been a disconnect between Dazai and his alpha.
He knows how to go through the motions. He can snarl, he can posture, he can issue commands. But as far as an impulse to do those things, an instinct—he’s never had that.
If Chuuya knew that Dazai was a wisp, a barely-alpha, a nothing living in a body made of mismatched parts—he would never claim Dazai as his own.

Summary
After a suicide attempt, Dazai is cast away to work at the lighthouse his great uncle had owned in the north of the mythical Shimane prefecture. He's not even in the town, he's three nautical miles away from the nearest port, always overlooking a populace that he supposes he can never be a part of.
Dazai finds that this esoteric ward he does not acknowledge offers more surprises than creeping loneliness. When the body of a man washes up on his beach, it seems that fortune has offered him a hand in repairing a piece of himself he has come to tolerate through the eyes of someone who has no idea what it means to be a human.
