She sighs, lowering her tea. “How regrettable,” she says to herself, rising from the table. The day is pleasant—or it was—with the sun warm and bright in a cloudless sky painted truest blue, a gentle breeze from the south easing the heat. A wonderful day to sit and enjoy tea by the harbor. But now Neuvillette is here, and Zhongli won’t suffer her presence. Not with Neuvillette’s intent to judge her hanging over her head.
When Neuvillette goes into heat for the first time, she turns to Zhongli for assistance.
