He wasn’t a violent man by nature, he was undeniably not a pacifist, but he rarely resorted to physical violence without at least trying the multitude of tricks up his sleeve, namely his intimidation techniques. He was however a very protective man. Especially of his class, and even more so of his problem child. So, Shouta was going to fucking destroy All Might. What the hell had the man been thinking?
OR:
A combination of bad Inko and bad All Might leads to Shouta finding Midoriya sleeping in the library because Inko kicked him out. Shouta then pries the information of what is going on out of Midoriya and quickly sets on a war path with 1 mission: destroy All Might

The soft click of the knob as it released the latch that held the door snug in its frame gave way and with a soft creak, the man watched the mahogany wood move closer, as a familiar form eased into the room, his mop of messy moss hair and wide, viridescent eyes that betrayed his trepidation.
And well Shouta was both surprised and...not by Problem Child’s presence.
He should be concerned and...not by the look in the kid’s eyes.
And yet…
“What’s wrong, Problem Child?”
The words fell from his lips before he could ponder the why should or shouldn’t be or do anything.
Because that look…
“Can…” The boy hedged for a moment, awkwardly shuffling into the room, his fingers fumbling together as he seemed to consider his words.
‘You can trust me, kid.’
The man leaned a little closer and waited, watching the boy who furrowed his brows as he peered back towards his Sensei.

“Has something happened?” He queried making to rise, hand reaching for the capture weapon he had laid neatly on the corner of the desk.
Another burble of panic rumbled in his chest.
If anything--
“No, oh no it’s not...that,” Izuku was hasty to reply, his hands coming to wave out in front of him, emerald eyes going wide as he realized his mistake. Shouta let out a small sigh, easing back into his chair as he stared back at Izuku, not fully trusting the boy’s reaction.
Because they both knew that Izuku was good at hiding things. Lying? No. Downplaying the severity of a situation, especially a dangerous one? Yes.
“Then what’s wrong?” He remarked softly after a minute, willing his heart to stop hammering so forcefully against his chest. “What can I do to help?”
“I, uh…” Izuku rubbed the back of his neck, trying to consider his words, sucking in a small breath as his eyes strayed to staring at the wall just behind Shouta’s head. “I...that is I overheard Shinsou talking and...I just… I’m hoping that I could...that maybe you could help me with a...project?”
A project?
That...didn’t make sense. Not in the slightest.

“You can sit down you know, kid,” The man rumbled, his back still turned to the boy, missing the way Izuku stiffened at being addressed and caught so unaware by the stealth hero.
And really he shouldn’t have been.
Izuku was stupid to think that he would have snuck up on Aizawa-Sensei.
It was as though the man could sense movement.
“Are you going to sit down or just stand there all day, Problem Child?”
With a brief glance towards the still and dimmed seating area and the kittens who hadn’t yet made any noise of protest or hunger, the boy moved towards the kitchen and eased onto a stool at the same moment the underground hero turned towards two mugs sitting atop the counter, his critical stare trained on the boy as he set the pot of softly burbling liquid on the hot pad, whisk stir churning and swirling through the aromatic cocoa and cream.
Aizawa-Sensei was making hot cocoa.

The rain slammed itself into the ground, a cacophony of sound that grated against his ears. Flinching at every drop, he looked up. The sky was dark, a terribly dull and threatening colour, which blocked any and all sunlight reaching out its beautiful, warm rays and hugging him close. This also limited his visibility, faint grey outlines of garbage bins, litter and cardboard boxes scattered around the alleyway.
“Kid?” He paused, shocked. He wasn’t a pro at situational awareness but always managed to at least notice when someone approached him. Maybe he was worse at it than he thought. Trying and hopefully not failing to hide his inner turmoil, he slowly turned around, taking in the man who approached him.
If a hero approaches a quirkless child in need, it's just because of their duty right?
He still felt bad about the cat.

Aldera was causing Izuku's mother a lot of unnecessary stress. His teachers always found a way to spin the narrative when they called Inko about his alleged 'terrible' behavior. It became increasingly obvious that his mother started to blame herself for his behavior but, in reality, no matter how hard he tried to 'stay out of trouble,' the school kept calling.
Logically, he decided that he should have his dad help them out for once. So he updated his school contact information. Izuku added his own phone number but under his father's name. In a fake voice— that he has gotten surprisingly good at over the years, he takes all the home calls on his own.
However, currently enrolled at UA, he tends to forget that he's still his own primary contact until a teacher/literal pro hero asks for his father. Today's surprise caller is Aizawa Shouta, calling for the school's parent-teacher conference week.
