After Bruno's father passes, he decides to abandon the city and drive back to live and operate from his childhood home. The problem is that it's a long drive. Significantly longer if he went sightseeing. But a boring trek isn't the ideal in Bruno's eyes. He wants an adventure. Something to distract from his sorrow. And boy does he get it.
Along the way he picks up: a cop, a stowaway highschooler, a newly adult hitchhiker, the seceded son of a rich family, a homeless kid that refuses to stay at the children's home, and the runaway daughter of a druggie.This may not be legal.
