    Arthur is the perfect flatmate -- he pays his rent on time, works so much that he’s not even home half the time, and is totally okay with Merlin’s magic. Best of all, Merlin is pretty sure that Arthur has a crush on him -- that is, until he stumbles across a list of things that Arthut hates about him.

    Merlin is upset of course, but he pushes aside his feelings to focus on being a better roommate so that Arthur will renew their lease for another year. Most of the things on the list aren’t that hard to correct … so how come Arthur seems to get more and more annoyed as Merlin improves his behaviour?

    Look, Hartley was not UNAWARE that he liked being manhandled. He liked a partner who could push him around a little in the bedroom, maybe even pick him up and move him on occasion. Hell, Chip’s ability to pick Hartley up and pin him against the shower wall while they were fucking was a big part of why Hartley had stayed with that cheating bastard for as long as he had. Hartley knew that he was into a little bit of rough play. He hadn’t been joking when he’d told Barry that getting scooped up by a guy in all leather was a long time fantasy and he had also gotten more private enjoyment than he was willing to admit to out of that experience.

    This was not the way it was supposed to go. At all.

    But obviously, the Universe is allergic to the combination of Jason Todd and well made plans.

    Red Hood has elaborate plans for vengeance - psychological warfare against Batman, prove the Replacement's worthlessness, build up his empire, etc etc. But that was before a very ill-advised rescue and an apparently very concussed Nightwing.

    What even is his life.
