Summary
Robert couldn’t tell you exactly when he stopped talking. He could tell you why he did, though - two charges of attempted murder, a stint in prison, and the fact no one believed it wasn't him. Selective mutism, was what the prison doctor diagnosed, after a few sessions where Robert had sat there, silent, unable to bring himself to say anything. It can be a result of trauma – PTSD, the doctor had suggested. The only cure was time, and therapy.

“Hold on.” he instructs Nora, covering the speakerphone. And his jaw practically hits the floor when he realizes it is Prince Henry wadding into the kitchen, hair all mussed from possibly tossing and turning, mouth open, yawning.
Upon realizing Alex’s presence, Henry’s stance straightens as an arrow, his chin jutting out a little, but even all these tiny pretentious precautions can not hide the bleariness of his eyes. “Sorry. Er, I was just. Cornettos.” he says gesturing to the fridge.
Alex expects Henry to take the ice cream cones and leave but Henry looks at him, opens his mouth to say something and a horrible scream is heard, everything goes blurry, Alex can not tell up from down and all of a sudden it all goes black.
“Alex.”
“Alex?”

Summary
Arthur died. Then Arthur wakes up. One week after Merlin begins his service as his manservant. But Arthur’s a prince again. He hasn’t known Merlin for one year, let alone ten, Morgana has no idea they were friends let alone related, Guinevere still thinks he’s a prat, and he has to act the part of a prince if he doesn’t want some poor sod getting killed in the hopes of lifting a fake enchantment Uther thinks was cast on his son.
Things are about to get a whole lot more complicated.

Summary
After centuries of waiting for Arthur’s return, and the ancient king showing no sign of resurrecting anytime soon, Merlin decides to turn himself into a stone statue and wait out the remaining years in a semi-conscious state. He places a charm upon himself, making it so that he will change back once Arthur returns and finds him. A plaque on the statue’s plinth reads as much: “Whoever holds dominion over this soul of stone / Need only touch it to turn it to flesh and bone.” It becomes something of a must-try in the city, and despite thousands of people interacting with the statue every year, no one succeeds in turning him back into a human. That is, until one day…
