Vincent was different than the other kids. And no, that wasn't a 'pick-me' mentality; he was the scientific, literary, and political OPPOSITE of his peers. He knew, his family knew it, the school knew it, and all of Gotham did when they saw the family title hitched to his first name. Outside of it all, he was a proud heir with mixed heritage and enough nerve and steel to set anyone on edge, from his classmates to the business partners his family met. There was something about Vincent that set off the human's natural survival instinct. Some people thought it was just his family's background or the quirkiness of a rich kid, but those closer to him, allies and enemies alike, knew the truth.
Some said it was his elastic personality, snapping from stony to chipper in a second. However, the most commonly expressed opinion was about the eyes. Even with the boy's innate ability to mask everything about himself, he could never get the eyes right. Two intense amber irises that hid something darker. Always calculating with a frosty sheen despite the fiery shade. The sight of the boy was always unsettling. To Vincent, it was as hilarious. Yet achingly dull.
That is, until Gotham Academy received a new student.

“Jisung,” came the reply, gentle, unhurried, carried in the most melodious voice Minho had ever heard. The sound settled over him like sunlight breaking through clouds, warm and grounding, and he clung to it instinctively, as if simply repeating the name in his mind could tether him to this fragile moment of calm.
“Nice to meet you, Jisung. Wait… you can speak?!” Minho blurted before he could stop himself, voice louder than intended. Heat flushed his cheeks. “Oh no, that’s not what I meant. I’m sorry… sometimes my mouth is faster than my brain.” He rubbed the back of his neck, fumbling for words, wishing the floor would swallow him whole. That familiar sinking feeling told him he’d just ruined everything, and maybe he should leave before embarrassing himself further.

They just hope that the Avengers will kill them before The Mad Titan learns of their failure in getting the tesseract. But maybe being with the Avengers won’t be so bad.

Elias al Ghul isn't particularly inclined to reconnect with any biological family. After all, he's supposed to be dead. Even so, when confronted with the reality that his twin brother has forgotten he existed at all, he can't help but want to throw a massive fit about it. After all, it's one thing to play dead. It's another thing entirely to be forgotten to the point you're not just dead; your very existence was erased.
Maybe he shouldn't have come to Gotham.
Gotham kind of sucks. And is really, really making him behave erratically, which is never a good sign for anyone. Except for himself, of course. He will do everyone wrong but himself.
