Sukuna knows it now—what it’s like to have glacial coolness pierce his skin, quickly melting into the body heat and slipping down as little droplets. Yuuji pulls him, and they’re staring directly at each other. Spiral eyes against other spiral eyes. It’s almost a challenging glint as Yuuji messily cranes his head towards the sky, giggling as he spins them around.
After Yuuji offers to coexist with Sukuna, his soul fragments get stuck within Yuuji’s innate domain. The only choice to hopefully get the brat’s attention? Hold a festival in his honour. Yuuji has a unique idea of passing Sukuna's soul to the other side, in his own way of acceptance - dancing.

"Yuuji...just come here and promise you won't freak the fuck out."
Yuuji gulped as he felt his skin tingle and his hands get sweaty. Slowly, he walked towards Yuuta, his heart pounding out of his chest as everyone's gaze followed his form.
This is really scary. What's happening? Who's the person? Why is everyone staring at me like I'm not supposed to be here?
Finally, Yuuji stopped short of Yuuta and stared at the sorcerer.
"What the hell is going on, Yuuta?"
All Yuuta did was raise a slow finger and point at the TV he was previously watching. Not able to hold it in anymore, Yuuji's head swung at the TV and looked at whatever was on the screen.
This time, it was Yuuji's turn to feel his heart stop and stare in his own wide-eyed expression.
No way in hell that's who that was.
He was standing right here, watching the broadcast like everyone else.
And yet, that face was unbelievably a match to his. Even the scars were, and so the hair.
"Yuuta...How the hell am I down there right now?"

Then, the echo ceased, and Yui felt...different. Every memory that crossed Yui's path had now been inherited into his flesh and bones. Looking back at Yuuji, he remembered everything.
...that's right...I made a vow with the brat.
"Hey, Yui. You okay?"
Yuuji half expected Yui to shrug it off and give him the finger (as he seemed like one who would do so), but when a smile crept up on Yui's face, and he looked back at Yuuji, there was the obvious indication that something had flipped in the boy, and Yuuji couldn't help but scuff.
"...Too soon, Sukuna?"
"...screw you, brat. My mind is still fuzzy from all those memories that jogged through my brain...and I'm still Yui...Sukuna is a thing of the past. This is my redemption, after all."
"...You're right...it's good to have you back."

Scars held a story. Satoru told him that after he saw Utahime for the first time.
Apparently, he held a whole book. A book with a lock that could only be opened a certain way.
With his racing heart, he asked aloud:
