Kokichi froze at the familiar voice, entire body tensing. Hesitantly, he glanced up and was met with the sight of Kiibo looking down at him with concern.
What the fuck.
Kokichi felt dizzy. He looked around, noticing their surroundings was…one of the classrooms. He whipped his head around, looking back at the locker he just fell out of. He was in the locker…just like at the beginning of the game.
Again, what the fuck.
Or, Kokichi dies for his plan and then wakes up back at the start. So, naturally, he has to think of a new course of action…which ends up requiring cooperation, trust, and a lot less lying to pull off, much to Kokichi’s displeasure.

“Wow,” he laughed nervously, losing what little composure he had. “Didn’t know I was at lunch with the ultimate psychologist. You never told me you had a hidden talent, Kirigiri.”
She shot him an unimpressed look. “I don’t know what I can say to change your mind about everything that happened, but I can give you a chance to quit hiding from the past.” She stood, reaching her gloved hand out towards him. “Come work for me.”

This can be read completely independently, chapter's 1-9 are exactly the same as my original story, chapter 10 is mostly the same with just some minor differences at the end, forward it will be a different story with a happy ending due to popular demand. There is still a healthy dose of angst, jut, yk, it actually ends well. In the end notes of chapter 10 I will post what the differences in that chapter from the original if people coming from the original work don't want to reread it all

Abaddon was tired. So very tired.
The endless loops - 73? 80? 90? He didn't know how many times he had done this - had drained him. Had taken everything from him and left him so exhausted. Exhausted enough to just... Sleep.
And so he slept. He slept for 300 years, past the evolution of the town and the manor and the modern history since being possessed. The events remain the same, being found by Nathan, and taken to the manner and cared for... Yet everything is different now.
He didn't mean to change the events so much. He was just tired.
Meanwhile, Nathan is having a panic attack because he's convinced himself that he just rescued a child that a cult tried to sacrifice in the woods. From one cult survivor to another, it's a no brainer that he decides to keep this disturbed little boy.
