Summary
Breaking out of the School is only the first step to their freedom, and the odds are stacked against them. Most of their quirks are defective, and the Commission runs Japan like a well-oiled machine. It's not as if they have anyone to turn to in the outside world.
But Tooru, Shouto, Hitoshi, and Izuku are dead set on getting Eri out of the Commission's hands, no matter the consequences. They'll figure out how to keep her safe and hopefully shatter the Commission's public image in the process.

The funny thing is, no one really expresses much surprise when he tells them of his plans.
Some of them raise their eyebrows. Some of them go, ‘Oh! Wow!’ with too much enthusiasm. Some of them simply nod, say, ‘It’s long overdue, Hawks-san’, then bow when they bid their goodbyes before walking off in opposite directions.
He had expected more of a reaction, truth be told. He had thought, perhaps, that they’d kick up a protest. That perhaps they would say, “We need you around, Hawks. Your holiday can wait.”
Really, he thought there would be more resistance. A day off, or so much as a half-day even, had been a challenge before.
Then again, rationally speaking, it does make sense. A war, a medal of valour, and an entire lifetime unlived later, he isn’t the same person anymore.
When all is said and done, Hawks travels the length of the entire country from south to north.

In his short life, Keigo was learning that there were a few things he would do nearly anything for.
Flying, for example, was one of them. He’d do anything to fly freely, short of maybe selling his wings for obvious reasons.
The Aizawa Yamada family, Miruko, Yagi, Nezu and Jeanist, he would actually sell his wings for, hell he’d sell himself back to the commission if it kept them happy.
The newest addition, he thought distantly, eyes dilated like an eclipsed moon, was fried chicken.

It starts off, like many things that are plot relevant tend to start, with Stain.
That is when Izuku sees blood pouring down Todoroki’s arm and dripping down on the ground with steady drops of crimson until there’s a small pile under him and embedded in his arm are two actual real life knives.
Todoroki looks down with that emotionless face and says, “Ah,” like he’s terribly inconvenienced and rips the knives out of his arm.
