Ilya chuckles. “Words, Shane,” he tells him gently.
“Shut up,” Shane says airily. “You did this to me. You wrecked me.”
A lopsided grin plastered on his face, Ilya agrees, “Yes, I did.”

Unfortunately, looking at Shane right now- devastated, and terrified, with something dangerous and unhinged glinting in his eyes, Hayden was unsure how to proceed.
