And then Steve was somehow back in his bedroom. No explanation, no warning. He had no idea how he ended up back in ‘83, but by god he had three years to try and change the tide and he wasn’t going to waste them. And hell, maybe he'll get to that whole 'thrown back in time' thing eventually.
This is a fair warning to anyone who wants to read. I haven’t actually watched the first two seasons in years and never put myself through three and four. To save myself. Love Robin and Eddie and Erika but it’s just not the same. So if you see something and say hey wait a minute that’s not how it- shh. Hush. Silence.

Under a much different circumstance, Eddie would have loved to have Steve’s eyes looking over him like that, would love to have that determination focused on him, but Eddie is very much dying, he knows it, so he smiles at Steve’s misplaced confidence instead, “High expectations, Stevie. “I-” Robin actually looked speechless. “Of course you can, just…it was…” She tucks a strand of hair behind her ear, frustrated. “That was a guy, Steve!”
Steve nodded. “Yeah, I’m aware.”
Robin blinked. “A guy,” she repeated, an exasperated expression on her face, her hands making some sort of gesture, underlining the word.
“I know,” Steve said, in the same manner, starting to get frustrated now, too. “Was pretty hard to miss with his dick against my thigh.” He narrowed his eyes. “No pun intended.”

His hair is still damp like he took a shower not too long ago, but the strands curl perfectly around his face to frame it in just the right way to look breathtaking. The soft smile on his lips just adds to it all.
He really is devastatingly handsome.
And so hot.
They haven’t seen each other in a week, since the night of the concert, and now Eddie’s back here, because they played a second Chicago show and are taking a week long break before starting the next leg of tour. And he wanted to spend his first night of the break with Steve, which honestly – still shocks him.

And that's when it occurred to Eddie.
Steve was way too good at this.
And by this he didn't mean just first aid or bandaging wounds because hell, the Upside Down bullshit seemed to be going on a while, Steve wrapped up in it since the start, but he meant this exact type of injuries.
Steve Harrington knew exactly how to fix someone up who's taking a beating. Hell, he had even known how to palpate Eddie's upper body to make sure no ribs were broken.
That was not really common knowledge or something he'd have learned from babysitting the Party all the time. And he had all of this, the bandages, bandaids, antiseptic shit, he had all of it here in his own fucking bathroom, and lots of it too. Even medical thread and needles.
And then there was the thought.
He didn't have to think about if he was right or not, he knew he was.
