It’s a lazy Sunday afternoon in their flat, and George and Chris lay down together on their couch, The thing between the two of them was pretty new. Chris hadn’t really ever thought he and George would ever be anything to each other but best mates really. But one day, after a pub crawl that lasted until 3 in the morning, when George had taken care of a very hungover Chris, he had looked at George and realized that he didn’t ever want to live without him.

Summary
In an attempt to block out his forever unhelpful stream of thoughts, Chris shakily pulls out a lighter, and successfully lights, what is admittedly his fourth cigarette of the night, on his second try. His unsteady hands fumbling to place it securely back in the pocket of his jacket. In its moments of it being lit, the lighter had provided Chris with some semblance of warmth. With it now off he finds himself freezing fucking cold, arms feeling like they’re laced with ice. It probably doesn’t help that he’s not even wearing a jacket. Chris stays out there anyways, hypothermia be damned, feeling like he’s drowning while he’s on land and praying that everything could just fucking stop for one brief moment of respite.

As the oldest member of the Bad Batch, Echo would consider himself pretty responsible. He took care of his squad when they needed him, which was most of the time. Echo was great at taking care of his family, but completely awful at taking care of himself.

“This is a little different from last time.”
It was a simple enough thing to say — the Strau were physically different from the Marixi, the customs drastically so, and if it had been anyone else saying it, Keith wouldn’t have batted an eye. But it wasn’t anyone else — it was Lance and though they never talked about it, they both knew what happened last time.
Something dangerous stirred in Keith.
“In what way?” he asked innocently.
“Less dancing,” Lance propped his chin on his hand and leaned forward, ever so slightly so he could whisper. “Less doors to be opened.”
Keith felt himself flush. He cleared his throat. “What a strange thing to notice.”
“Maybe,” Lance shrugged. “But I have a hard time not noticing doors, especially once they’ve been opened.”
OR
Keith walks in on Lance hooking up with an alien and maybe both of them kinda like it.

Summary
Fucking Keith was a lot like fighting with him, Lance found, and since they’d been having sex, their arguments were basically reduced to zero. They were on the same page more now than ever before. It made leading the team so much easier because when they did have a disagreement, they weren’t arguing about it in front of everyone else. Instead, they’d compromise, and then later, they’d fuck until they were finished being mad at each other.
Personally, Lance thought it was a great solution.
Except Keith was looking down at him now with the most intense expression Lance had ever seen, the most serious look on his face, the bright, soft, easy glint in his eyes that said—
Suddenly, Lance wasn’t sure that they were fucking at all anymore.
