Roy gets sick, and Johnny decides to play nursemaid.
"Fine," and, yep, Roy was sick. He could hear the slight rasp to the man's words, the almost-wheeze present as he continued, "did some housework, some chores that needed to be done. Jo and the kids are out of town." Roy gave him an appraising stare and Johnny just smiled at him, shrugging out of his button-up and pulling on his uniform shirt. He knew what Roy was looking for, but two could play at this game, so Johnny wasn't about to let the cat out of the bag so easily.
"That's good, that's good! You still need my help this weekend?" He asked casually, looking down and buttoning up his shirt before pulling on his shoes and placing one of his feet on the bench to lace them.
"If you're still willing–" Roy started, seemingly not finding what he was looking for in Johnny's face, to which Johnny mentally sagged in relief to, because it meant that he was doing a great job at being casual, if Roy couldn't tell that he knew Roy was sick.
