Her silky black hair was pulled back into an intricate braid, her smile curved up at the edge just as it always had. It looked as if the years hadn’t touched her. But when Celine looked into her eyes there was no warmth, no recognition. There couldn’t be, not when this wasn’t Mi-yeong.
Rumi made a small, choked sound. Somewhere half-way between a gasp and a sob, “Eomma?”

“It’s...” you breathe out slowly, your hands trembling. You’re quick to tighten your grasp on yourself, steeling yourself as you stare past her, at the wall behind her. “A lot. I think it’s going to be a lot.”
Celine hums. The noise is unwavering and solid and intense, and it makes you shift on your feet. You thought you hated her when you were seventeen, and maybe you do, but you think that you love her more than you know. Your earliest notebooks are full of information about her. All the things she likes, all that she doesn’t, everything you couldn’t quite get a read on. You know her. She knows you. You think that maybe the problem lies somewhere within that.
Celine leans forward, her head bowed slightly. “I have spent my entire life preparing you,” she murmurs, voice carrying across the room despite her speaking softly. “You are more than capable of this.”

The woman is standing near the console, the same height as Aloy. Same color red hair, but shorter. Her face is different in that it looks older, with more pronounced smile lines. She looks tired. Worn. It's Elisabet in a way Aloy has never seen her before, without the holo's filter of blue light layered over her image. Real and tangible.

Aloy helps restore GAIA. In return, GAIA decides to bring back Elisabet, and that's where things get messy.

“Not like—” Shego’s breath hissed out through her teeth, scalding against Kim’s skin. “Just let me see it.”

The sunlight was playing with her pretty features and lovely hair, and in that particular moment of weakness – when her eyes were still shimmering with unshed tears and her heart was still singing those lovely stories about a shared home she could always go back to – her whole future was painted in red, white and gold, and Miorine could have never been more delighted to see it.

After Link frees each divine beast from the Blights, each Champion is freed. Instead of it being their lingering spirits, it’s them, very much alive. Whatever kept Zelda alive for all those years fighting Ganon, has done the same for the champions. Even if their bodies had been concealed by malice, that wonderful light of Hylia’s power had kept them alive. They help Link and Zelda fight Ganon, and when it’s all said and done, they live together. Oh yeah, and Mipha is like, big big.
OR. The champions are alive after Link frees the Divine Beasts, the same way Zelda is after fighting Ganon. They all fight Ganon, meet the new champs, and save Zelda. Yay! Meanwhile, a catastrophe calls everything Kara thought she knew about herself into question. And this time, the power of flight won't be enough to get the sunny alien off her feet.
