Summary
An accompanying work to "Show Me How You Fly" - a story where Shinichi has the ability to shift into the form of an unlucky raven, and accidentally befriends Kaito in the form of that raven.
This work is a small series of scenes that couldn't quite make the final cut of the original work, featuring some different POVs and what happened in between scenes from SMHYF. Mostly just tying up loose ends and gratuitous amounts of domestic bliss, complete with shameless flirting, awkward meetings with the future in-laws, best friend shovel talks, and learning how to fly, among other things.

And there it was.
Unlike his haircut, his jokes, and proclivities, it was one of the few things not so many people frequently commented on anymore. Sure, there was the odd joke made at his expense when anger or adrenaline heady in his veins made his accent come out thicker than was probably safe over comms, but no one ever bothered to point it out as insistently as Ghost.
No one managed to get under his skin like Ghost did.

Summary
Soap’s arm fucking hurts. Radiating pain down into his fingertips with each painful pulse of his heart, a white-blinding burn each time the car is jostled by the road. Christ.
Next to him, Ghost keeps his eyes resolutely on the road. Staring out at the dark street as if he expects Phillip Graves himself to jump out in front of the flickering headlights at any minute, and maybe he does, fuck, Soap wouldn't blame him.
