Sirius Black was always an unfortunate soul, it seems that life always wants him in misery, so it is a mercy that after 36 years of life he can give peace to his life, so if that's the case why he wakes up in his Hogwarts years? Specifically in the worst of them all, 76, where the prank happened last term, just when his friends didn't acknowledge his presence because of an action his teenage self performed.
With all the knowledge of the future Sirius has to figure out a way to avoid the tragic fate that this Hogwarts generation possesses.
Just remember Sirius, the clock starts ticking from the first death...

Summary
“You should run away,” Regulus whispers and Sirius finds himself endeared, despite everything
“I don’t have anywhere to go,” Sirius whispers back.
Regulus does not know the details of what happened between Sirius and his friends last semester but Sirius thinks he might be close to understanding the severity of it. If it had just been a petty argument Sirius would have ran. He would have gone to James and let his friend keep him hidden and safe.
But it hadn’t just been an argument. Sirius had betrayed Remus and in doing so he had disappointed James as well and there was nothing he could do to make it right. He knows that if he went to James, he would let him stay despite it all but Sirius did not deserve his help. And on top of it all, it would have hurt Remus, who has always been unsure if James and Sirius loved him as much as they loved each other. Sirius does not want to hurt Remus again.
He will not hurt him again.

So imagine his and Remus’s surprise when he receives a phone call from an unknown French hospital. The lady on the other side of the call exclaims in way too cheery French that:
His parents are dead.
He has a little brother.
Said brother is nine years old.
He is now the legal guardian of his new little brother- Regulus, that’s his name.
Regulus was going to move in with him next weekend.

Okay, there's a lot to explain. Lilith discovers Hunter's true Golden Guard nature two years before Cannon. Luz falls through a natural portal just days after Lilith and Eda fake Hunter's death and gets him out of the castle, and Belos makes her his newest Golden Guard. Hunter ends up back at the castle, and everyone else is under the impression that the New Golden Guard revived him from the dead. This work is heavily inspired by Not_A_Cop's beautiful masterpiece called Guards of Gravesfield. While it is not required to understand this fic, it is such an amazingly crafted work that I heavily recommend reading it!

Hogwarts is the very last place that Harry Potter and Draco Malfoy want to return to after the war. The Castle feels claustrophobic and stifling. Both feel trapped within its walls.

The last thing that either student wants is mandatory Mind Healing. What has happened to them feels so big and devastating, that writing to a stranger feels farcical.

Harry and Draco are both given a shared magical diary, and soon they begin writing letters to an anonymous fellow student.
Their letters, terse at first, grow longer as the days pass. Before long, each wizard confesses their secrets and their fantasies, their wishes and their dreams.
What will happen when their true identities are exposed? Will their vulnerable new relationship be destroyed before it has even begun?

Sirius squeezes his eyes shut, trying to block out all the noise of the dying feast around them, trying to find the strongest surge of pain, locate its location, and tuck it away behind his own crumbling protective walls. It’s futile. James’ mischievous eyes, Remus’ amused smirk, Peter’s encapsulating hugs, they’ve worn down his defenses.
You can’t build a fortress with a hidden doorway. It’s pointless. An entrance is an entrance. A leak is a leak. And it’s all spilling out.
