Felix has worked hard to be one of the best hunters of his pack, to not just be an omega and he's successful. He's grateful, so extremely grateful because he's heard stories of other packs having such backwards thinking omegas are still only used for breeding.
It just poses a small problem, because he has a rather particular kind of alpha that he likes. It's really not his fault, it's his inner wolf (and him) that just wants to turn submissive when he catches the eye of alphas that have bulging biceps and an intimidating aura.

And you’re done with the academy and your parents still haven’t reached out. Come ooooon, Eddie,” she finishes with a whine.
“No.”
“Eddie.”
“No!”
“Edmundo,” She pushes, purposefully over pronouncing the syllables of his name and he glares at her.
“I’m not taking part in a fucking mating run, Shan! Drop it.”
She rolls her eyes, finishing off her beer and then snatching his up and chugging that one as well.
“I’ll convince you,” she mutters, pretending to gag at the warm beer.
“No you won’t,” he laughs.

“Good job, Mr. Buckley,” Firefighter Diaz says, once he’s standing right in front of Buck. He holds out the small toy, eyebrow quirking up. Is everything in slow motion? Buck thinks everything is in slow motion.
It feels like it takes forever for him to reach out and take it, but time seems to speed back up when their fingers brush, just slightly, during the exchange. He breathes in a little too sharply and nods at him, like, yes, an idiot, and his mouth is moving before he can stop it. “Uh, yes, yeah, thank you.”
...or, Buck’s an elementary school teacher. Eddie’s the hot firefighter that visits his school for a fire safety assembly. He is so normal about it. Seriously. Just ask his coworkers.
