What a fool he chose as a teacher: a boy who was stupidly in love with some girl, and took nearly a week to realize that when said girl handed the pink box with that lovely navy ribbon (which Lucifer may have chosen himself) back to him at school; she wasn’t handing it back to the bartender she spoke to.
And so began the double life.
Ji-Won’s constant hiding, pretending not to know Lucifer or Nike, and the incessant daily running off to meet with her. It was sickening, really—Lucifer swore he’d break that damn phone of his one of these days.
Ji-Won made a promise to Lucifer first; the demon wasn’t willing to let it bend.

AKA Lucifer realizes that humans are just as bad as he was told.
