Branzy wasn’t sure when the little gifts from Clown had started.
Perhaps it was the day after he actually spoke to Clown, when a small, purple-ish rock was taped to the door of Branzy’s own room with clown-themed washi tape, that just screamed Clown.
Not that anyone other than Clown and him had access to Clown’s (and his?) apartment.
As far as he knew.So it was pretty obvious it was from Clown.
Branzy remembered finding it a little weird but also strangely endearing.

Then, one night, when Branzy was lying on his bed, scrolling through TikTok, one particular video stood out to him.
“Penguin Pebbling is by far one of my favourite neurodivergent love languages and here’s why! Basically it’s…,” the TikToker continued explaining what Clown and Branzy had been doing for the past week.
Well, that would have been cool to know a little earlier.

It starts like this: a window smashes, a jester soars through it, and Branzy screams.
He can’t help it. Look, he’s new to this place, and despite all the warnings his old friends have given him, Branzy has never known when to glue his mouth shut. It’s worse when he’s caught off guard like this—a full-body scream escapes him before he can even think to can it. It doesn’t ground him, but it does draw the attention of the man that has just crash landed in his laboratory.
Eyes that feel like beetles on Branzy’s skin give him a long once over. He doesn’t know how he can tell, since the jester is wearing the full getup, a sharp-tipped circus mask to boot. Those eyes, though. Branzy doesn’t need to see where they land to feel them.

Wow, I don't know where to start. The writing for Brandy was amazing. It goes really in depth in his emotions and how he felt the entire time but not overly so. I really enjoyed the little jokes that appear every now and then, it keeps things light!

Love fics in this format. I haven't watched the KSMP so I don't really know the lore but still enjoyed reading. It says completed but the last author's note says more should be coming? I don't think more is coming. It kinda leaves you a tiny bit wanting at the end but still a good read and story.

Absolutely loved it. Idk if it was streamed or if someone else released the video earlier but I read this ff before watching the video (squiddo's) and I love this idea with my whole soul. Seriously this has to be one of my top Clownzy reads.

One moment, Clown is cracking jokes and playing with their targets like a cat with a mouse. The next, he’s flipping switches in his head, outlining cold-blooded strategies that would make even seasoned spies wince.

Logically, Clown knew that Branzy could fend for himself, given the time and resources and preparation needed. Knew that his lamb’s jaw could unhinge and reveal the sharpest set of teeth there was, could bite through bone and muscle and sinewy tissue and flesh with cutting precision, not even out of survival but simply for fun.
But—
If Branzy insisted on keeping up the guise of innocence, who was Clown to stop him? He’d go along with anything that man suggested, always ultimately swayed by those big purple eyes of his.
